This juxtaposition of external connections and internal disconnection is a theme that has deeply moved me. I've translated these sentiments into a collection of three ceramic lamps. Each lamp is a fragment of a larger narrative.
This handcrafted ceramic table lamp, titled 'LOVE-OVERLOAD', symbolizes the overwhelming sensation of being engulfed in a whirlwind of relationships, leading to a loss of equilibrium.
Why lamps? Because light represents enlightenment and understanding. Isn't it through introspection that we truly connect with ourselves? This lamp is imperfect, as any relationship.
Compact in size, this piece is perfect for a bedside table or a decorative shelf. It features a meticulous glaze of blue and white, carefully blended to create a harmonious finish. Each item is uniquely crafted, with slight variations in the glaze, making every piece truly one of a kind.
